A few of you may have noticed that the image here has been altered. Here's why. Paul "homophobe" emailed me and wrote:

"Hi, my name is Paul ???? and I was notified by my friend that my picture was on your home page. It’s the one of superman with green cup and the French maid. Please remove this now, as I am not gay and most definitely don’t appreciate you using my picture on your website. I will notify the proper authorities if it remains on your website.

Paul ????"

Why is this such an issue for some "straight" guys? I found the picture off the net, on some random board. You willingly post a picture of yourself or pose for a picture that may be posted online, well it's going to get whored around. Just because you're image is posted here doesn't mean you're fucking gay. This unique post helps those of interest become well aware that Halloween is 176 days away. That's all. It has a superman theme.

And who the fuck are "the proper authorities"? The blogger police, complete with steel coated beating mouses? The government itself? Or maybe a person with the "proper" power who could really give a fucking rats ass if your sexual identity is at risk...

Paul, and I know you're reading this because you're checking back to see if your sexual life is no longer at risk, stop worrying about what people think because people will always question everything about you. Your sexuality, your intentions, your assumptions, your morals, your beliefs, your homophobia... Paul, sweet innocent Paul, enjoy the simplicity that is life, because obviously you're not enjoying life. That's the best advice I can give you. Don't waste my time again.

Oh Paul, I hope Brandon Routh is not in fear of people thinking he's gay [as you so blatantly are] just because I posted screen caps from his new movie, Superman Returns, here on Magmozine.com. Do you now think Brandon Routh is gay? Can you forever get the image of an assumed gay actor [that you've labeled gay just because he's been featured on a gay blog] out your head when you yourself see Superman Returns?

Now do you see how useless your email & threat was? I am done with you.

Update: And so I'm not done with him. He responsed stating that he wasn't "trying to start up any kind of controversy or confrontation over the internet" as most who contact me in this manner state after I vent off all dramatic. He has no idea who posted the pic or how it got online for me, a queer, to adore. He also stated that he was "in a rush" when he emailed me and that he doesn't even know who the proper authorities are nor is he homophobic.

The reason I continue to use the word homopboic/homophobe is because, as stated by definition, "showing an irrational hatred, disapproval, or fear of homosexuality, gay and lesbian people, or their culture". This would fall under fear or disapproval. People tend to view this word in many forms.

It turns out "Paul", the now deleted superman fan as well as a possible college student [email ending in .edu] slash horny muscled youth... is not a fan of "pornographic material". This is usually the 2nd excuse one throws at me. But I always wonder, if some big breasted girl had a similiar straight blog and had some girl on girl porn on her site and just happened to have his picture in a similiar superman post... would he really mind? Not to pick on Paul but would any straight guy with these same issues have this fucking issue?

He does admit that maybe he's "paranoid that it could circulate around and be found by a possible future employer…who knows…" But really, if you are now telling me your gay friend found this and that you're not homopbobic, then would you really want an employer who is homphobic? He does end his latest response with "I Hope your site is successful in whatever your goal is with it. Thanks for removing the picture."

Well I'll admit I'm stil a bit irriated because this continues to happen. I can not control the internet and what happens when you or someone posts a picture featuring you... but I will remove any such photo because I'm not a complete dick. This isn't so much a verbal attack on Paul himself but I do use him as an example for others with similiar issues. I think I'm done now.
